Mary M. Futch, O.D., PA. Dr. Futch is a 1985 graduate of Valdosta State University in Georgia and received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1989. Dr. Futch is a member of the Northeast Florida Optometric Society, the Florida Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Futch has practiced Optometry in North Florida for almost 20 years.
Mrs. Melissa A. Batten Melissa Batten is the Administrative Director for Baker Vision Care. Melissa is a multitasking whiz! If you need information about our practice, or have questions about your insurance coverage, call Melissa. Melissa is a graduate of Baker County High School. She is married to Mike Batten, and they have 2 sons.
Ms. Lacy M. Ott Lacy Ott is one of Baker Vision Care's medical technicians. Lacy preps patients for their exam with Dr. Futch and also is skilled in administering specialized testing such as Automated Visual Field Evaluation, Retinal Scans, and Fundus Photos. Lacy has worked at Baker Vision Care since July 2007. Lacy is a graduate of Baker County High School and is currently enrolled at FCCJ, Jacksonville, studying to become a teacher.
Mr. Michael S. Batten, Lab Manager Michael Batten has been the Optical Lab Manager at Baker Vision Care since 2006. Mike over saw the installation of the ophthalmic lab at Baker Vision Care, and trained with Robert Fox from Topcon Ophthalmics. Mike is Baker Vision Care's Quality Control Guru. He personally produces the lenses that are made at Baker Vison Care, and inspects them before they are dispensed to our patients. Mike has made glasses for people who live and work all over the world, including Afghanistan, Cuba, and Iraq. Mike is a graduate of Baker County High School. Mike also served every American, as a soldier in the United States Army. Mike is married to Melissa and they have 2 sons.
